With the endorsement of the Army Air Corps, G-HDAE is now flying in the colours of WP964, a Chipmunk operated by the Army at Middle Wallop in the 1970s and 80s for training forward air controllers.
Airborne Classics has a group of 5 pilots who fly this unique aircraft to air shows and fly-ins, and just for fun. The aircraft is capable of flying into short grass airstrips, as well as regular airfields, and is capable of performing aerobatics.

G-HDAE participates in Royal Air Force Centenery Flypast at RAF Henlow on 1st April 2018 (See Videos page).
G-HDAE was on static display at RIAT 2016 at RAF Fairford.
G-HDAE was one of around 50 Chipmunks that gathered at Old Warden to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first flight of the prototype on 23rd May.
May 2016: Chipmunk G-HDAE is now flying again in the colour scheme of Army Air Corps aircraft WP964.
